Fuel prices rise

FUEL prices in Slovakia have gone up. As of August 12, petrol prices rose by about €0.02 and diesel prices by €0.01 per litre.

FUEL prices in Slovakia have gone up. As of August 12, petrol prices rose by about €0.02 and diesel prices by €0.01 per litre.

The average price for 95-octane petrol is now slightly under €1.190 per litre. The average price of diesel is about €1.110 per litre.

According to the SITA newswire, this is the first time since the end of June 2009 that prices have gone up. Since the beginning of the year, petrol prices have risen by €0.20 per litre while diesel is €0.02 cheaper.
