AIESEC Slovakia Slovensko presents for 2010 the 15th Annual National Career Days. The job opportunities fair will take place on the 11th and 12th of March, 2010 in the Incheba Convention Center in Bratislava. This unique event showcases job offers from a number of leading Slovak companies in various industries which are participating. The event will run over two days. Last year, more than 4913 students came to see it.

NDC is a job opportunities fair where firms exhibit themselves at stands which provide space for meetings and for company representatives to exchange information with potential staff hires.

The event’s aim is to bring theory and practice together and is intended, in particular, for students and recent university graduates from 18-26 years of age whose goal is to become oriented to the labor market and find the job most appropriate for them.

Every person who attends gets an NCD Information Bulletin when they enter, with information about participating companies as well as practical advice and tips about, for example, how to write a CV, a motivation letter and other important things. You have the opportunity at NCD to become part of your own future.

NCD’s added value is its accompanying program, consisting this year of three parts. First is a classic company presentation, where firms have a specified time outside their stands to present their company to a group of students. An engaging presentation or a video can attract their attention. The second part is training days, which run during both days of the jobs fair and where companies have the option of organizing their own training course or case study. The third part, which is a new addition for the 15th Annual National Career Days, is the Symposium.

The main idea of the Symposium is “Creativity and Innovation in Business”. This conference offers 60-90 delegates a unique opportunity to solve case studies directly with the companies, drawing those taking part closer to contemporary business and the trends that affect it. Another of the Symposium’s goals is to stimulate young people’s entrepreneurship and potential, open up horizons for them and encourage at birth their ideas, from which successful projects and, in the end, their own enterprises result.

The event organizer is AIESEC.
