In 1994, Vivat Slovakia was recorded by several HZDS members, including Vladimír Mečiar and the current President Ivan Gašparovič.

Authors of the “Slovakia our patria” song remain unknown since they did not wish to publicise their names. The ownership rights belong to Salus, a company 100 percent owned by HZDS.
