OSCE is monitoring Slovakia’s election

THE ORGANISATION for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE) has said that its Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) opened an election assessment mission for the June 12 parliamentary election in Slovakia.

THE ORGANISATION for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE) has said that its Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) opened an election assessment mission for the June 12 parliamentary election in Slovakia.

The mission’s deployment on June 1 follows an invitation from the Foreign Ministry of Slovakia. As a participating member of the OSCE, Slovakia committed itself to invite ODIHR to observe the election, the office’s press department stated. The experts will assess and report on the overall framework for the conduct of the elections.
