The executive body of the Supreme Court on Monday, June 14, gave the green light to the temporary assignment of current Justice Minister Viera Petríková and ministry State Secretary Daniel Hudák to the Supreme Court, Sylvia Machalová of the Office of the Supreme Court chairman told the TASR newswire.
“The judges on the council have no objections to the temporary assignment of judges Viera Petríková and Daniel Hudák to hold posts as judges with the Slovak Supreme Court,” said Machalová.
Both Petríková and Hudák were judges before their tenures at the ministry. According to sme.sk web portal, Slovakia's Judicial Council is set to discuss their temporary assignments on Tuesday.
