The outgoing government will resign on Thursday, July 8, Prime Minister Robert Fico’s spokesperson Silvia Glendová confirmed on Tuesday, July 6, the TASR newswire reported.

Glendová said that Fico will officially hand the resignation to President Ivan Gašparovič after the initial session of the newly-elected parliament takes place on Thursday.
