Defence Minister Galko and US Ambassador Sedgwick meet

Relations between the US and Slovakia are on an above-average level, with cooperation between armed forces of the two countries being exceptionally fruitful and active, Defence Minister Ľubomír Galko (SaS) told US Ambassador to Slovakia Theodore Sedgwick during their meeting on Tuesday, September 7, the TASR newswire reported. The American ambassador said he appreciated the bilateral relations which he regards as fairly cordial, TASR wrote. He praised the involvement of Slovakia in the international operations such as ISAF operation in Afghanistan.
