The richest Slovak political party last year was the Slovak National Party

The annual report of political parties for 2009 was presented to MPs at the beginning of the fifth meeting day of the parliamentary session and according to the report the richest party in 2009 was the Slovak National Party (SNS), with assets amounting to more than €2.5 million, the Sme daily reported

The annual report of political parties for 2009 was presented to MPs at the beginning of the fifth meeting day of the parliamentary session and according to the report the richest party in 2009 was the Slovak National Party (SNS), with assets amounting to more than €2.5 million, the Sme daily reported

SNS was followed by Smer with €2.2 million and the largest current coalition party, the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKU) ended third with assets of about €620,000.

Sme wrote that the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) was fourth with about €440,000 property and Most-Híd had about €105,000 followed by Freedom and Solidarity party (SaS) with €11,000.
