Volkswagen Slovakia officially opened a new training centre for employees at its Bratislava facility in Devínska Nová Ves on Thursday, September 30.
Quoting Volkswagen Slovakia spokesman Vladimír Machalík, the TASR newswire reported that the centre occupies 1,200 square metres, and that employees will engage in two-week training courses focused on current production and on the manufacture of VW's New Small Family class of cars. The construction and outfitting of the training centre cost more than €800,000, Machalík said.
