The stated mission of ITAS is to promote and develop an information society as a precondition for building a knowledge-based economy.

SISp – Slovak Society for Computer Science (Slovenská Informatická Spoločnosť)

SISp is a professional organisation covering the fields of theoretical and applied informatics, software engineering, education in computer science and related branches. Its basic mission is to create preconditions for the development of informatics and information technologies in Slovakia. It clusters experts studying and researching theoretical and methodological problems, experts in applied informatics, as well as teachers in the field of informatics. It also holds the licence to grant the European Computer Driving License (ECDL).
