The government cabinet's Legislative Council has new members as of October 20, the SITA newswire wrote, after approval of a proposal of Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská for replacement of nominees from the previous government.

The government cabinet's Legislative Council has new members as of October 20, the SITA newswire wrote, after approval of a proposal of Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská for replacement of nominees from the previous government.

Former Justice Minister Viera Petríková was dismissed from the post of chairperson and replaced by Žitňanská. Former state secretary Anna Vitteková ended her position as deputy chairperson and it will be filled by Jaroslav Pilát, the deputy head of the Cabinet Office. Štefan Grman will remain in his post of the council secretary.
