President Christofias of Cyprus visits Slovakia today

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Demetris Christofias, and his wife Elsi are paying an official visit to Slovakia upon the invitation of Slovakia's President Ivan Gašparovič, the SITA newswire wrote.

The Slovak president officially welcomed the Cypriot presidential couple on November 11 at 10:00 in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace in Bratislava.

Official talks were scheduled to follow after the initial meeting of the two presidential couples. A specific item on the agenda is the signing of an agreement between the governments of Slovakia and Cyprus on mutual protection of classified information.
