VOTE: Election turnout was as low as the polls predicted

ONLY 49.69 percent of eligible voters exercised their rights to cast ballots for candidates in the municipal elections held across Slovakia on Saturday, November 27.

ONLY 49.69 percent of eligible voters exercised their rights to cast ballots for candidates in the municipal elections held across Slovakia on Saturday, November 27.

The highest turnout was recorded in the Prešov Region where 53.66 percent of the eligible voters turned out while the lowest turnout was recorded in the Bratislava Region where only 37.94 percent of the eligible voters made it to the polling stations.
