THE 2. REPREZENTAČNÝ ple(b)s na bitúnku / 2nd Representative Ball (Plebs) at the Slaughterhouse is a masquerade ball by the Elledanse dance theatre and school. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Moyze-sovci v galérii - The Moyzes Quartet give their first concerts from the cycle Music and Paintings in the Slovak National Gallery, this time playing Posledné kvartetá / The Last Quartets, the final string quartets: The Fourth String Quartet in B Major by J. L. Bella, the Third Quartet in B Major by J. Brahms, as well as the Quintet for Clarinet and Two Violins, Viola and Cello by C. M. von Weber.

ICE HOCKEY: Slovakia Cup – This ice hockey tournament, a dress-rehearsal for the World Championship being held later in Bratislava and Košice, will see the national teams of Belarus, Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia face off against each other in four matches over two days.

IN THE Czech Centre in Rázusova 13 in Košice, the exhibition Česká republika - rozprávková krajina hradov a zámkov / The Czech Republic - Fairytale Country of Castles and Mansions offers models of the most famous Czech castles complete with a photographic exhibition of the monuments recorded on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. Until February 18, visitors can admire the exhibits for free on Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 16:30, and on Fridays from 8:30 to 13:00.
