800 new jobs to come to Trnava

EXPANSION of a production hall at the Fine DNC Slovakia company, a supplier of components to Samsung, operating in the Voderady industrial park near Trnava, is expected to bring 800 new jobs, the SITA newswire reported.

The company currently produces LCD components for producers of white and black goods and employs 400 people.

The company announced that it plans to increase its production area from 6,300 square meters to 7,800 square meters and to more than double its storage area, with the additional capacity to be used for production, storage and handling of its LCD components.

The company did not disclose the amount it was planning to invest.
