AFTER one year of operation Bratislava will lose its direct air link with Warsaw. LOT Polish Airlines announced on its website that it is halting the regular service between Warsaw and Bratislava as of May 17, the SITA newswire reported.
The company explained its decision by referring to lower-than-expected interest in the service. The route will be scrapped exactly one year after LOT resumed flights to Bratislava following a previous one-year break.
