The people of Slovakia will mark the holiday of the Virgin Mary of Seven Sorrows, a patron saint of Slovakia on Thursday, September 15, the SITA newswire wrote.
This Roman Catholic holiday is a public holiday in Slovakia. The basilica in Šaštín, western Slovakia, the national shrine of the Virgin Mary of Seven Sorrows, will be the site of a national pilgrimage between September 15 and 18 this year.
