A new paint shop for car bodies of the New Small Family series was opened in the Bratislava plant of Volkswagen on October 10. The company invested €100 million in the facility, the TASR newswire reported.
"The new paint shop is the biggest and technologically most complex investment within the preparations for the production of cars of the New Small Family series. Technologies we use are state-of-art and are the most environmentally-friendly ones in Europe," Andreas Tostmann, the chairman of the firm’s board of directors told SITA.
