CONCERT:
Renowned Czech singer and musician Dan Bárta, who has sung with many musicians of different genres (including, for example, Bobby McFerrin) has invited the Epoque Quartet, a string quartet, to give the music of his Illustratosphere band a new touch. Orchestre National de Lille – This acclaimed French orchestra will play in the Slovak capital. A joint project by the group afterPhurikane and singer Jana Kirschner, this special “droma khere / On the Way Home” event brings together on one stage and in various combinations Roma singers Marcelka and Jozef Dreveòáks, Irenka Pokutová, Béla Pokuta, Martinka Ïuïová, African percussionist Thierry Ebam, Slovak accordionist Boris Lenko, Slovak cellist Jozef Lupták, British pianist Eddie Stevens and Slovak singer Jana Kirschner in a unique musical programme that tours four Slovak cities: Levoèa, Martin, Bratislava and Košice.
