Volkswagen to make large investment in Bratislava plant

The Bratislava-based factory of German carmaker Volkswagen plans to enhance its welding capacities with an investment worth €1.1 billion, the e.trend portal wrote.

The Bratislava-based factory of German carmaker Volkswagen plans to enhance its welding capacities with an investment worth €1.1 billion, the e.trend portal wrote.

After the investment is completed, the company should be able to weld 1,100 chasses per day and employ 1,200 people, the Sme daily wrote based on the e.trend report.
