Slovak Insurance Association (SLASPO),
- a professional association of commercial insurance companies. A total of 20 companies held licences to sell insurance in Slovakia as of December 31, 2011. Of these, 12 were universal insurance companies, five were solely life insurers and three were non-life insurance companies. The Slovak Insurance Association represents 19 insurance companies and one branch of a foreign insurance company.

Slovak Insurers’ Bureau (SKP)
- the bureau, which was established by law and administers the Insurance Guarantee Fund, works as an information centre and represents Slovak insurers in international institutions dealing with liability insurance.
