Several customers travelling under the banner of Slovakia’s Alex Tour travel agency were stuck abroad after the company announced its filing for bankruptcy on July 2, after 20 years of operations, the Sme daily reported.
Representatives of Alex Tour announced on the travel agency’s website that the firm had financial problems and was not able to meet its commitments to customers, suggesting that the travellers should contact Kooperatíva insurance company that will ensure the return of about 125 people currently abroad, the Hospodárske noviny economic daily wrote.
