Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák awarded outgoing Finnish Ambassador to Slovakia Jukka Leino with a golden plaque for his efforts and active diplomatic participation in strengthening Slovak-Finnish relations, the TASR newswire reported on August 28.
Both Lajčák and Leino assessed the prospects for further cooperation between the two countries in terms of politics, trade, economics and culture. The topics under discussion also included cooperation within the European Union and the current situation in the eurozone.
