CONCERT:
THE CYCLE of classical music Hudba v chrámoch / Music in Churches continues in the 2012/2013 philharmonic season, with the Slovak Chamber Orchestra Bohdan Warchal playing on September 23 at 15:00 in the Franciscan Church (Františkánske Square 3) in Bratislava featuring works by Bach, and Te Deum by Marc-Antoine Charpentier together with the Technik choir. IstroCON – The 25th annual anime and pop culture film festival, encompassing sci-fi, fantasy, horror and games, welcomes Japanese producer of anime movies Mitsuhisa Ishkawa. The IstroCON festival will run jointly with the 9th annual Comics Salón comics festival.

Pressburg Dance Fest - Natural Beauty of Woman – The first year of this festival brings together representatives from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Slovakia, to offer an overview of what is happening in the dance scene. Jazz v Aréne – Jazz in Arena – Every third Thursday of each month, jazz is performed in the Arena theatre; this month will feature the Milo Suchomel X Pro-ject, playing groove and funk and featuring Milo Suchomel (tenor and soprano saxophone), Ondrej Juráši (trumpet), Michal Bugala (guitar), Tomáš Gajlik (piano), Juraj Griglák (double bass), and Martin Valihora (drums).

THE P. M. BOHÚŇ Gallery / Galéria Petra Michala Bohúňa in Liptovský Mikuláš presents an exhibition of 314 drawings by renowned artist of Slovak origin Ladislav Mednyánsky. (The Záhrady maľby / Gardens of Painting exhibition of contemporary Czech painting will run simultaneously.)
