THE COMPANY Manufacturing + Mounting began constructing its second production hall in Hronská Breznica in Zvolen district in mid June, the TASR newswire wrote on June 11. So far, the firm, which has an Italian owner and produces palletising lines, has invested €3.3 million in Hronská Breznica.

“The current investment of about €1.7 million will bring work to about 20 people,” Igor Kanda, the mayor of Hronská Breznica said as quoted by TASR, adding that construction of the second hall should be finished in autumn. “Thus about 50 people will work in both halls.”

Employees of the company are mostly specialised experts who trained for this work abroad. The company will need, in particular, skilled welders and electro-mechanics.

Manufacturing + Mounting has been operating in Slovakia since 2006, and construction of its first production hall in Hronská Breznica was completed in 2009.
