THE RATE of consumer price growth continues to decrease. Inflation in August showed the slowest increase since the end of 2010, standing at only 1.3 percent, 0.2 percentage points lower than in July. During the first eight months of 2013 prices rose by only 1.8 percent, the SITA newswire reported.
In annual terms inflation rose by 1.3 percent. Core inflation stood at 1.4 percent, while net inflation was 0.8 percent, according to the Statistics Office.
