THE GEIS group, a complex logistics services provider, opened a €7 million new central office in Zvolen in early July.
The building, 7,700 square metres in size, consists of a distribution centre for pallet and general cargo, and administrative premises for central Slovakia, including premises for storage and logistics operations. Part of the premises in Zvolen, which consists of 30,000 square metres, also houses a petrol station. The previous central office of Geis was in Banská Bystrica, the SITA newswire wrote.
About 90 people worked with Geis in Zvolen in July while the German company plans new recruitments.
