Regional elections tomorrow, foreign permanent residents can vote

RESIDENTS of eight regions in Slovakia will be able to elect the regional presidents and members of regional councils in their respective regions November 9.

RESIDENTS of eight regions in Slovakia will be able to elect the regional presidents and members of regional councils in their respective regions November 9.

Foreigners will permanent residence in Slovakia can vote. Every foreign national with residence in Slovakia who has reached 18 years of age by election day can vote in the elections in their respective region.

Polling stations open at 7:00 and will remain open until 22:00.
