CONCERT:
WITHIN the City Sounds project, US jazz singer Kurt Elling will give a concert on March 8 at 19:00, in the Big Concert Studio of Slovak Radio in Mýtna 1 in Bratislava – together with Gary Versace (keyboard), John McLean (guitar), Clark Sommers (double bass) and Kendrick Scott (drums). Elling is the renowned singer of “vocalese” style, in which vocal parts are later made into an original instrumental piece. In this concert he will be supported by Slovak jazz singer-composer-musician Sisa Michalidesová and her band, featuring Marian Ševčík (drums), Juraj Griglák (bass), Peter Preložník (keyboard), Pavol Bereza (guitar) and Milo Suchomel (sax)), with support vocals by Hanka Gregušová and Samuel Hošek.
