DUODANUBE is a well-established international dog show that takes place in Bratislava this year on August 16-17 at the Racecourse in Petržalka-Ovsište. One hundred and eighty breeds and varieties of dogs, including rare ones like the Perro Dogo Mallorquín, Podenco Portugues, Porcelaine and the Arabian Hound will be on show, competing for various titles. Shanti Loka – The first three-day festival of yoga in Bratislava brings Ayurvedic therapy and massage, aromatherapy (Monika Véghová), fitness (Ján Hubinský), feng-shui (Peter Filo), healing vibrations (Rami Shaafi, Ivana Shaafi), bio-impedance body analysis (Daniela Nitonová), MagnetSpace & Diacom analysis, spiritual numerology (Ing. The series Zážitkové Pondelky / Events Mondays offers a rich cultural programme on days when most galleries and museums are closed, featuring trips on vintage buses (at 11:00 from Fajnorovo Nábrežie) to a lecture at Devín Castle, a walking tour around Old Town (in Slovak, German and English) at 14:00 (tourist centre in Klobučnícka 2), a guided cycling tour following the border of the Iron Curtain (17:00, starting in the Old Town), traditional arts and crafts presented by ÚĽUV (16:00, ÚĽUV shop in SNP Square) and modern art at the Nedbalka Gallery (Nedbalova 17).

EXHIBITION:
NIKOLAJ Feďkovič, a Slovak painter based in Germany, returns to the Kežmarok U Anjela / At the Angel gallery (Starý Trh 53), with his exhibition of dreamy artwork inspired by 17th-century Dutch painting, Gothic panel paintings, the Leipzig school of magic realism and Russian artists of miniatures.
