THE FINANCE Ministry has published a list of companies with the amount of their corporate tax liability for the year 2013.

The list is published on the ministry web site and is part of new legal obligations and includes almost all companies with double-entry accounting. The list does not include government bodies, foundations, non-profit organizations, associations, municipalities and so on.

Later on the ministry updated the list and in it included also companies accounting in the IFRS system and not according to Slovak accounting standards.

Based on the updated list, Eustream paid €97.7 million; Kia Motors Slovakia €83.45 million and Slovak Telekom €45.97 million. These were followed by Orange Slovakia with €42.4 million and SPP-Distribúcia, a subsidiary of the Slovak gas utility Slovenský Plynárenský Priemysel (SPP) paid €38.6 million.
