Slovak hotels received 8.75 points of 10. Second placed Bulgaria with 8.7 points, followed by Switzerland, Poland, Austria, Croatia, Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic Romania . Denmark received the least points, only 7.73, the Aktuality.sk website reported.

“The cleanliness of hotels belongs to very important criteria when choosing a holiday,” said Marta Kučerová, head of the Slovak Tourist Board, as quoted by Aktuality.sk, adding that the result shows that Slovak hotel managers care about their hotels being clean. “This also proves the improving quality of services in Slovak tourism.”
