UN Secretary General will visit Slovakia

UN SECRETARY General Ban Ki-moon will visit Slovakia between October 17 and 20, based on an invitation of President Andrej Kiska.

Ki-moon will meet with President Kiska, PM Robert Fico, Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák, and Speaker of Parliament Peter Pellegrini. He will also visit cultural and natural monuments, hold a lecture on the implementation of sustainable development aims at the Comenius University in Bratislava and also open the exhibition devoted to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations.

Before his return to the US, Ki-moon will visit the accommodation facility for refugees in Gabčíkovo, the TASR newswire wrote.
