CASTING: Schwarzkopf Elite Model look 2016 – The series of castings all over the country of the Elite agency is an opportunity to become a model. Women must be between 13-22 years of age and at least 170 cm tall; while men must be between 15-23 and at least 182 cm tall. The ambassador of the competition is the top model Michaela Kocianová. MUSIC FESTIVAL: Malacká hudobná jar/ Malacky Music Spring - This musical event takes place every year in March and April. These are series of concerts of mostly classical music and choirs. RACING: FIA WTCC - Slovak racing circuit Slovakia Ring next toOrechová Potôň welcomes the prestigious race series of The World Touring Car Championship FIA WTCC. It will be the second stop on the calendar after the championship began in the French Le Castelleto. Overall, it consists of 12 events as WTTC will visit also Morocco, Argentina, Japan, China, Thailand and Qatar. In comparison with last year the famous Sébastien Loeb is not going to race this year after leaving the world of cross-country and Rally-cross. EXHIBITION: Do You Know Music Tools? – The Western Slovakian Museum / Západoslovenské múzeum brings an educational exhibition, striving to present different kinds of musical tools: string, brass instruments, drums and key instruments. The string instruments are represented by violin, viola and cello. These instruments were popular in the first decades of the 20th century.  Zither was popular in the southern part of the Hungarian Empire among Slovaks in the 17th century. DANCE: Nemé tváre/ Výkriky do ticha/ Dumb faces/ Scream in silence - Premiere - The oeuvre from Dana Dinková is a story about harassment or bullying - virtual and also physical. As seen through the lives of young people the performance seeks to solve the serious social problem of violence, which is often inconspicuous, but a destructive current in schools and families. The main message of the performance is to be tolerant and to tolerate our surroundings. Written, choreographed and directed by Dana Dinková. CINEMA: Barani/ Rams - The last screening at the International Festival of Film Febiofest 2016, will make a stop also in Banská Bystrica. In a remote Icelandic farming valley, two brothers who haven't spoken in 40 years have to come together in order to save what's dearest to them - their sheep. DANCE: From the side of a man, from the side of a woman - This is a story about brutality and cruelty, it highlights the devastation of human sovereignty, dark sides of the psyche and the limits of human action. This new form of physical-theatre, powerful testimony and performances of dancers have been shown also to viewers in Krakow (Poland), Pula (Croatia), and the Czech capital - Prague. OPERA: Rigoletto - Victor Hugo’s drama Le Roi s’Amuse was an ideal story for its composer Giuseppe Verdi, full of great passions, a critical view on the society and a touching personal life. FASHION SHOW: Roma Fashion Show – This event takes place in the Alfa Gallery and is a mixture of two interesting projects, Romani Suv and Roma ReštART. The main goal is to tear down the barriers, stereotypes, racial prejudices and discrimination. Students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds meet on a weekly basis. OPERA: Alcina - The High Baroque opera from 1735 shows the story of the witch Alcina, allowing us to stand on the threshold of good and evil - at a crossroads, while giving us the substantive issues that are seemingly the simplest ones. The opera is introduced in its original Italian with particular regard to so-called baroque instructive interpretations with the occupation of European reputation.
