CAR RACE: World championship – The most popular car race in Slovakia takes place. Organisers welcome all age groups to the palace of speed. During the weekend you can see the time race called Brands agains the Chronometer (WTCC MAC3). Categories like FIA ETCC,Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Central Europe, Suzuki Swift Cup Europe, Hankook Racer Cup with vehicles Suzuki Swift and Lotus Elise). EXHIBITION: Kupeckého svet/The world of Kupeckého – The exposition under the small Carpathians. Exhibit of artworks on the occasion of the year of Ján Kupecký is prepared in cooperation with the elementary school of  Ján Kupecký and the town of Pezinok. EXHIBITION: Nórske fjordy / Norwegian Fjords – The State scientific library welcome visitors to exposition of northern nature. The Norwegian fjords will be seen in Banská Bystrica until May 24. FASHION: Icons – The moden exhibition of the VYVA fashion brand, created by a group of women from neighbourhood Nad jazerom, formt he Výmenník Važecká (Važecká SPOT site) under the guidance of Jana Bučková. VYVA set up as a community project From the Street. Visitors will see icons Coco Chanel, Katarína The Great, Jacke Kennedy, Marie Antoanette or Anna Karenina on the stage. FESTIVAL: Ukraine Days – The biggest and probably most uknkown state which borders Slovakia. The second anniversary takes place in Košice to allow a better understanding of the culture, design, art and life in Ukraine. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Košická hudobná jar/ Košice Musical Spring – The international festival was founded in 1956 and it is one of the oldest music festivals in Slovakia. Featuring cello player Michaela Fukačová, Jan Mráček, conductors Leoš Svárovský and Ondrej Lenárd, Czech band Musica Florea, he Slovak Chamber Orchestra (SKO) Bohdan Warchal. Starts: April 21-May 13; Dom umenia / House of Arts. EXHIBITION: Zo ZáSUVky / From an SUV Drawer – The useful art design will be presented in the KulturPark. The creation of teachers and students will be seen in a bit different layout.
