Bratislava will be on fire

After last year’s “first-time ever”, the first open-air milonga and marathon, 2016 will bring another “first time”: a joint performance of fire dancers and tango dancers.

“Tango on Fire” is a tailor-made performance to be presented in Bratislava during the tango marathon Bratislava Tango Party on June 11 at 19:15. The ”two passions combined in one dance show”, according to organisers, will be preceded by the Open Air Milonga in which about 250 dancers from 33 countries will be dancing in the Hviezdoslavovo Square.

The event will complement well the Cultural Summer and Castle Festival Bratislava, attracting both tourists and locals as an international visual and musical peculiarity. From 18:30 on, tango dancers from 33 countries, participants of Bratislava Tango Party, and other dancers will dance in the square to the music of a special international Tango DJ. Afterwards, the 15-minutes show “Tango on Fire” will be performed by professional dancers of Bestango (tango) & Dreamdancers (fire dance).
