Pupils of district schools cook in Brussels

A week of Slovak cuisine, as a part of official activities under the auspices of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union, introduced Slovak dishes cooked by pupils of Bratislava district schools.

“Bratislava district supports dual education and specialized preparation of young people. One of the ways is by the presentation of their skillfulness beyond the borders of our country,” said the governor of the Bratislava region Pavol Frešo.

Pupils from the Bratislava district school have cooked in canteens of the European Commission since Monday. During the week pupils served a Slovak student menu, filled dumplings (pirohy) and different types of soup, fish and dessert.
