CONCERT: Duke Bluebeard – Folk-pop musician Duke Bluebeard comes to Bratislava from Budapest. The first full-length album of this singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist was released in March 2016 and is titled Friend or Foe. Starts: Jan 13, 19:00; Satori stage, Mickiewiczova 9. CONCERT: Jazz Belles – A project presented by two female conservatory students includes jazz music mixed with elements of latino music, soul and blues. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Wagner, Prokofiev, Brahms, Strauss – The Slovak Philharmonic led by Sergey Neller with Juraj Čižmarovič on violin will perform oeuvres by four composers: Johannes Brahms, Sergei Prokofiev, Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner. DANCE: Slovak Dances - Sixteen orchestral suite dances by Slovak composer and musician Peter Breiner, who currently lives in New York, based on Slovak folk songs and similar suites by other composers. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Rachmaninoff, Bartók and Prokofiev – The music composed by three musicians - Sergei Rachmaninoff, Béla Bartók and Sergei Prokofiev will be performed by the Slovak Philharmonic Choir, conducted by George Pehlivanian, with Mátyás Antal as choirmaster and two soloists – Otokar Klein and Zsolt Haja. GASTRONOMY: Winter Food Festival – The festival is held in chosen top restaurants around Slovakia and will offer its customers professional service and tasty food. COMPETITION: Game tournament – The TowerFall Tournament 2v2 is a competition, which will be held in pairs. ART: Hennah painting – Those who would like to try temporary decoration of their skin with hennah, can join this event which will be created by Pakistani artist Seher Sultana. Exhibitions

EXHIBITION: On the Border – The first exhibition of this year at the gallery of the Polish Institute presents Roma artist and painter Małgorzata Mirga-Tas. The main topic of her exhibition called Na pomedzí/ On the Border, is the life of the Roma people, who are depicted in her colourful oeuvres in an abstract and decorative way. TRAINING: Zumba in English Every Tuesday – Not a dance lesson, but rather a party which the organisers call the Zumba dance. Organised by Internationals Bratislava, a non-profit organisation that brings people together from all around the world living or visiting Bratislava, regardless of their cultural origin. Highlights of the year

SHOW: Ceasar Millan - Kynolog and dog trainer Ceasar Millan will visit Bratislava within his European tour called the Ceasar Millan Live Tour 2017. SHOW: Cirque du Soleil – The well-known international artistic group, Cirque du Soleil, comes again to Slovakia and for the first time they present their seven performances of the story named Varekai. CONCERT: Andrea Bocelli – One of the greatest artists of Opera, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, has recorded 15 studio albums and three Greatest hits albums over his more than 25-year-long career. The holder of the Golden Globe in the category of song for The Prayer in the animated film The Magic Sword, who last year released his most recent album named Cinema, comes to Bratislava.
