CONCERT: Pete Lincoln (Sweet) – Pete Lincoln who started playing guitar early on and who, in the 1980s and 1990s collaborated with artists like Cliff Richard, Tina Turner, Shakin’ Stevens and others and who has been the leader of the band The Sweet is now playing solo acoustic guitar at several venues in Slovakia, including Nitra. CONCERT: David Koller & Friends 2017 – Czech musician David Koller has embarked on a tour, in which his songs are performed by other Czech and Slovak musicians and bands who are guests at his concerts: Katarzia, Korben Dallas, Vladimír 518 & Mike Trafik, Kato of Prago Union, Hentai Corporation, Android Asteroid and Ben Cristovao, among others. In February, they will tour Slovakia, making a stop in Žilina, Jasná, Trenčín, Košice and Banská Bystrica, a Valentine concert in Bratislava, and finish the tour in Nitra. THEATRE/MUSICAL: Gypsy Roots, or Gipsy Spices – The dance tragicomedy tells a story of the love between Roma and Non-Roma, to the background of contemporary issues, social life and prejudices, with arranged music by Goran Bregovič, directed and choreographed by Daan Dinková and Jaroslav Moravčík, with cast including Ján Jamrich, Veronika Szabová and the ballet of the State Opera. CONCERT: Exceptional Concert of Exceptional Musicians – The concert hailing the upcoming 25th anniversary of the local J. L. Bella Conservatory will feature Michal Červeinka on accordion, Nothing But Swing (a trio – Róbert Ragan Sr., Klaudius Kováč, Peter Solárik), Martin Budinský on cymbal, and Zlaté Husle / Golden Violin orchestra (Martin Sleziak, Marek Krištofík, Milan Hronček, Peter Párničan, Erik Bartoš).
