CLASSICAL MUSIC: The Alphorn, or Alpine horn, is an instrument not typically associated with classical music but this concert offers the works of Leopold Mozart (Sinfonia Pastorela for Alphorn and Orchestra), and Giovanni d'Aquila (The Great Horn of Helm for Alphorn and String Orchestra). Also on offer are Antonín Dvořák and his Romance for Volin and Orchestra, Op. 11, Mazurka for Violin and Orchestra, Op. 49, and Beethoven' Symphony No 8 F Major, Op. 93). CLASSICAL MUSIC: Quasars Ensemble & Košice – This concert by the Slovak orchestra commemorates Jozef Sixta, the bard of Slovak avant-garde, within the seventh year of the cycle Quasars Ensemble & Košice.
