An audit in the ammunition storage facility of the armed forces in Trenčín – Kubrá has revealed that some of the inventory is missing.

“Stocktaking was immediately ordered and an investigation commission was set up,” spokeswoman for the Defence Ministry Danka Capáková said, as cited by the Sme daily. “We want to prevent panic, and therefore we will inform the public only after we have relevant conclusions,” she also said, adding that if any misconduct is confirmed, the ministry will call for responsibility and take appropriate action.
