The spa in Nový Smokovec created the traditional Veľkonočné mestečko (Easter Village) for visitors to the Vysoké Tatry mountains.

The programme consisted of folk performances, crafts, making painted Easter eggs, a bryndzové halušky (sheep cheese dumplings) eating contest and a beer drinking competition. For children, there was a mini-zoo with horses, lambs and calves and face painting with spring themes.
