Students from elementary and high schools from Banská Bystrica created a new record – the biggest Eco Atlas in the world.
The atlas consists of 4 parts, put together to cover 15 square metres. It measures 6 by 2.5 metres. The students made the continents by sticking together various pieces of waste, collected in the recycling bins in their schools.
The record was created at the Ekodeň (Ecological Day) event, which draws attention to how we pollute the environment with our behaviour. It is organized by Resonance, an ecological organization.
