CONCERT: Janek Gwizdala - Bass guitarist and producer Janek Gwizdala, who comes from London and actually lives in the USA will visit Bratislava during his Last Minute World Tour 2017. This solo tour is Gwizdala’s project, where he has challenged his fans, students and colleagues to organise his concert in the town and style of their choosing. PARTY: Flying Shoes – This party will host representatives of hip-hop, trap and RnB music: famous Slovak dancer, DJ and choreographer Laci Strike, BJ Piggo, who is dedicated to hip-hop, funk and soul and Eternal, who plays older classical tracks. FESTIVAL: Student fest – This is 22nd student festival named Bažant na Mlynoch 2017, which includes a dance stage and two music stages with performances by Chiki liki tu-a, Puding pani Elvisovej, Jana Kirschner, Polemic and othes. CONCERT: Blues on the Boat - Lovers of the blues can enjoy an evening in the boat’s bar with another concert from the Blues na lodi/ Blues on the Boat sessions and with a view of the Danube river. Theatre & Classical Music

CLASSICAL MUSIC: Mozart, Saint-Saëns, Schubert – A concert performed by the Slovak Philharmonic, led by James Judd with Daishin Kashimoto playing violin, will present oeuvres by Austrian composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert and Camille Saint-Saëns from France. THEATRE: Theodore and the Moon – This performance for adults and children is dedicated to a journey to the moon. The theatrical puppet play by current Argentine playwright Eduardo Rovner, Teodoro y la luna/ Theodore and the Moon will be this time be performed by real actors. INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL: Early Music Days - This music festival with international participation has been organised by the Center of Early Music every year since 1996 and it is dedicated to music from medieval times to the 19th century. The program includes events such as Music in Pressburg in the 17th century, Missa Virgo Prudentissima by Heinrich Isaac, works by Georg Philipp Telemann and others. CONCERT: Lubomyr Melnyk – A Canadian musician, the so called “fastest piano player in the world”, the inventor of “continuous piano playing“, comes to visit Slovakia for the first time as part of the festival BRaK - Bratislava Book Festival. OUTDOOR: Spring Garden Days at Schloss Hof – Lovers of flowers and gardening can enjoy whole days in the courtyard of the Austrian castle, Schloss Hof, where around sixty suppliers will present indigenous and exotic flora, rare plants, garden and country house accessories, handicrafts and ceramic works. INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL: Days of Architecture and Design - This is the eighth Dni architektúry a dizajnu/ Days of Architecture and Design (DAAD) 2017, which is a festival concerned with architecture, design and art. The program includes for example events such as EGO – an exhibition about the first ladies of Slovak architecture or Prvá liga/ First League, where it will be possible to meet famous European designers and architects. SHOW: Ugo Sanchez Jr. - Experimenter and performer Guido Nardin alias Ugo Sanchez, a member of of the Slava Polunin Company, which is associated with clowns, is characterised by his significant moustache and hairstyle. EXHIBITION: Polish ilustrated children books - Visitors to this exhibition have a chance to get know to the current authors of books for small readers, which were published by the Polish publishing house named Dwie Siostry.
