Holidaymakers can use the direct flight connection from Bratislava to the Greek island of Corfu as of May 5.
The connection, operated by Irish low-cost airline Ryanair, can be used until the end of summer season, i.e. October 27, 2017, the TASR newswire reported.
The planes will leave the Bratislava airport every Friday; they will also land there on Fridays.
“Corfu is one of six seasonal destinations which Ryanair operates from the Bratislava airport every summer due to the increased interest of holidaymakers in seaside destinations,” said the airport’s spokesperson Veronika Ševčíková, as quoted by TASR.
The other five seasonal destinations with direct lines from the Slovak capital include Malaga and Palma de Mallorca in Spain, Trapani in Sicily, Alghero in Sardinia, and Paris – Beauvais, she added.
Ryanair currently offers altogether 20 direct flights from Bratislava, TASR reported.
