PARADE: Umbrella Parade – Taking place for the sixth time in Bratislava the Umbrella Parade supports refugees worldwide. June 20th is World Refugee Day and reminds us of the braveness and power of all refugees. The celebration is held in more than 100 countries. Participants of the Parade march through the Old Town. PICNIC: Bratislavský dobový piknik – A picnic for whole city in the style of the first half of the last century – between the years 1900 and 1950. FESTIVAL: Urban art festival – One-day multi-genre festival in the streets of Bratislava brings 16 stages and almost 40 performances of various music genres. MARKET: Vajnory market – Lovers of quality, local products, creative workshops and a family atmosphere should stop at the Vajnorské Farmárske trhy (Farmer’s market in Vajnory). EXHIBITION: Obrazy a sochy (Paintings and statues) – Vladimír Kompánek, sculptor and painter, is the most famous protagonist of Galandovci and at the same time one of the most charismatic people of the Slovak painting scene of the second half of 20th century.
