Winter has arrived in the mountains

The first snow appeared in late September.

The winter usually comes early to the High Tatras in northern Slovakia. The mountain range belongs to the pearls of tourism in the country, offering an amazing diversity of natural phenomena and a high concentration of leisure pursuits in a relatively small area.

The extremely cold weather in the second half of September brought the first snow to the High Tatras, covering the peaks in white.
