The Burger King chain will open a new outlet in one of Bratislava’s shopping centres in autumn, with others to follow. They plan to open a total of 15 outlets in the next years, Daniel Ryška, head of Burger King for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, told the Hospodárske Noviny (HN) economic daily.
The US company AmRest is also operating brands like KFC and Starbucks in Slovakia, as well as restaurants in Poland (40), the Czech Republic (12) and Bulgaria (1).
The fast-food chain is returning to Slovakia after seven years, HN added. It has more than 13,000 restaurants in 79 countries worldwide.
