Want to do cross-country skiing? Visit Skalka

More than 60 kilometres of routes.

Lovers of winter sports can enjoy many kilometres of cross-country skiing slopes these days. They are suitable for both beginners and long cross-country skiing enthusiasts. A cross-country skiing race also takes place in Skalka near Kremnica every year at the end of January.

In the resort, visitors to Skalka should buy a ticket for the routes. The fee is two euros per day. A seasonal ticket costs 30 euros. It is possible to find container with free toilets near the centre.

The routes regularly undergo maintenance from Friday to Saturday or more often, if needed. The in-line route and so-called five will be serviced every day. That means eight kilometres of prepared routes every day. There are more than 60 kilometres of cross-country skiing routes in Skalka, My Žiar wrote.
