The second highest peak of Slovakia, Lomnický Štít (2,634 metres above sea level) in the High Tatras remains accessible to tourists in winter via the iconic red cable car.
Currently, the peak and the surrounding mountains are covered in snow and when the weather is good and visibility high, they offer spectacular scenery for visitors.
